Cayman Islands Airport (GCM) Car Rental

All additional drivers must meet all rental requirements. 

Additional drivers must appear at the rental counter with the primary renter. 

Additional drivers must sign the rental agreement. 

An additional daily fee may apply for any Additional Drivers.  

The additional driver can only be added to the contract at the pick up location. 

Minimum age to rent a vehicle is 21, and no maximum age is 80

Rental rates may be higher for renters and additional drivers under the age of 25 

Driving restricted within the Island of Grand Cayman only.

As a customer, you have a choice as to how you would like to pay for fuel.

Option 1- Prepay Fuel

This option allows the renter to pay for the full tank of gas at the time of rental and return the tank empty. No refunds will be issued for unused gas.  Pre-paid gas is available at 5% less than the local fuel prices

Option 2- We Refill

This option allows the renter to pay National at the end of the rental for gas used but not replaced. Price per gallon will be higher than local fuel prices. A 50% surcharge will apply.

Option 3- You Refill

This option allows the renter to return the vehicle with a full tank of gas to avoid extra fuel charges.

A passport in addition to a return airline ticket and a credit card, with available credit and in the renter's name, must be presented. The signature on the back must match the name imprinted on the card. In addition, if the renter has an online transaction, the number and name printed on the card presented by renter must match the name and number stored for the online transaction. 

Credit Cards Honored: American Express®, MasterCard®, VISA®, Diners Club®, Discover®

Travel/Tour Vouchers accepted, Debit card accepted with return airline ticket.

A pre-authorization hold will be placed on the credit card prior to rental for the total estimated charges plus an additional 25% or US$300 whichever is the greater.  Pre-authorization holds are not possible on a debit card, therefore the transaction will be completed for the total estimated charges plus the 25% or US$300. The difference will be refunded to the customer on return of the vehicle. please allow 21-28 days for the refund to appear in customers account..

Must meet the location's minimum age requirements.

Present a valid driver's license.

Present a major credit card in renter's name at the time of rental.

All non-Cayman Island residents and renters without an international driver%u2019s license are required to purchase visitors drivers permit available from the rental office at a cost of $20 per visitors permit
